<p>*On weeknights, stay away from involved meals. Think of things that can be prepared in less than 45 minutes, though it’s ideal to keep your meal prep to 30 minutes whenever possible.</p>
<p>*Do as much prep as you can ahead of time. If you’re planning grilled chicken and vegetables for dinner, say, then you can clean and slice your vegetables in the morning before you head out for the day. Marinate the chicken. <p>Yes, this is one fats and muscles myth that will never go away. Get this straight. Fat will never turn into muscle and muscle will never turn into fat. </p>
<p>The reason is simple. Your body fats and muscles are made up of completely different cell structure and they are so different that they cannot be converted to each other. Your muscle is very much alive and work very hard whereas fat just sits there doing nothing and just plain looking ugly. How can they be the same or can be converted to each other? </p>
<p>How did this fitness myth come about then? Well, let me offer some suggestions. </p>
<p>When a fat person train with weights, he will build muscles and then for his muscle definition to show, he will have to lose fat. He will do cardio exercises and eat healthily to achieve a healthy fat loss. When that is accomplished, he will revealed a lean muscular body because he has already <br />
packed on some muscle mass and have lost a substantial amount of body fat from his lose fats and build muscles program. </p>
<p>So when people see his new found lean muscular body and noticed that his body fat is now gone, some will comment that his fats has turned into muscles. Isn&#8217;t that a nonsensical comment? Not just nonsensical, it is downright <br />
hilarious. </p>
<p>Now, just say that this same guy has lost his motivation to train for whatever reasons and because he no longer wants to maintain his lean muscular body, he naturally will lay off exercises and start to eat unhealthily. Gradually, he will put on body fat because of his unhealthy diet and the fact that he no longer exercise to burn calories. Then as he put on more fat, the fat begins to cover up his muscles and his muscles are no longer noticeable. </p>
<p>Ahhhh&#8230;.these same people who do not know the biology of muscle and fat will proclaim that his muscles has turned into body fat. Well, these chaps must be magicians or how else can muscle turn into fat or fat turn into muscle? </p>
<p>Why am I exposing this fat and muscle myth? Because it is funny? Well perhaps that too. But the main reason is that this fat and muscle myth has put alot of people away from exercising to build muscles and continue to indulge in unhealthy eating habits by proclaiming that there is no point building muscles because once they stop, they will get fat. Again, this is rubbish because most of them are fat to begin with anyway. It is just a lazy excuse not to exercise and eat healthily. </p>
<p>So if you have friends who tout this fat and muscle myth to you, send them this article. You may be doing them a great favor when they realised the truth and head for the gym to build some muscles and lose some body fat. </p>

<p>Having an idea of which exercises are a waste of time is just as important as having an idea of which exercises are the best. Unfortunately, some of the most prescribed arm exercises are extremely ineffective.</p>
<p>How did this come to be?</p>
<p>The truth is that, in this case, tradition has clouded common sense. It&#8217;s all too common for women to blindly do what the so called experts have been recommending.</p>
<p>Luckily for you, I&#8217;ve done all the research and I&#8217;m ready to share my findings. Why? Because I believe that getting sexy and toned arms shouldn&#8217;t involve the risk of injury.</p>
<p>Thus, here is my critique of kickbacks for getting rid of arm fat:</p>
<p><strong>1. Summary:</strong> This is probably the most overrated triceps exercise out there. Seriously. I think this exercise is a waste of time for two main reasons. First, exercising one arm at a time is extremely inefficient. Second, you can&#8217;t use heavy weights when doing this exercise. And heavy weights are critical for the fastest arm toning.</p>
<p><strong>2. Technical overview:</strong> Find a low bench. Place one of your hands on it while leaning forward with knees slightly bent. Use your free hand to grasp a weight. Keep the same arm aligned with your torso. Lift the weight by straightening out your arm. Slowly lower it and repeat.</p>
<p><strong>3. Frequent errors:</strong> Heave hoeing the weight up and down. Allowing the elbows to shift around. And not going all the way up and all the way down with the dumbbell.</p>
<p><strong>4. Final word:</strong> I know a lot of women do this exercise and a lot of trainers recommend it, but this doesn&#8217;t mean that you should do it. In fact, this is the most overrated exercise for toning the triceps area.</p>
<p>Having an effective selection of arm toning exercises for your workouts is critical for flabby arm success. Anything less would be a waste of time. So never do what everybody else is doing without first questioning the practice. Only then will you get sexy and lean arms!</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Eggs: Part 2</span></p>
<p><strong>Poaching:</strong> boil 1.5 inches (40mm) water in a shallow pan; add 5 g of salt and a teaspoon of vinegar. Break an egg into a cup, inspect and pour into boiling water. Turn down the heat. Gather the white around the unbroken yolk with a spoon and continue to simmer for another 3-4 mins. Lift out with a fish slice, drain and serve on hot buttered toast.</p>
<p><strong>Scrambling:</strong> beat eggs well; add salt, pepper and a dash of milk. Melt enough butter to cover the bottom of the pan. Cook eggs slowly, stirring continuously. Cook in a basin floating in boiling water, if preferred. Serve when almost completely set, in about 5 mins.</p>
<p><strong>Fried:</strong> Melt enough butter to easily cover the bottom of (a|the shallow pan. Tip egg in gently and gather the whites around the yolks. When the white has solidified, baste the yolk to taste and remove whole with a fish slice.</p>
<p><strong>Baking:</strong> lightly grease a fireproof dish and slide eggs into it. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and butter. Bake in a moderate oven and serve in the same pan after the whites have set.</p>
<p><strong>Omelettes:</strong> buy a pan and keep it solely for omelettes! The base should be smooth and clean. Allow two eggs per person; whip lightly and add salt and pepper to taste. Melt enough butter to cover the bottom of a shallow pan. When the butter is fairly hot, pour in the beaten eggs; as it sets, raise the handle and draw the set mixture up towards the handle, allowing the liquid egg to run down onto the hot pan. When all the liquid has set, tilt the pan forward and roll the omelette over. Serve straight away on a hot plate. The omelette can be stuffed with almost anything, before being rolled over.</p>
<p><strong>Pouring Custard:</strong> lightly beat 2-3 eggs for every pint of milk. Heat the milk and gradually add to the eggs; add sugar and flavouring to suit your taste; heat in a double pan or jug and hot water until the required consistency has been reached. If it is not to be served up immediately, pour a thin layer of water onto it&#8217;s surface to stop a skin forming on top.</p>
<p><strong>Baked Custard:</strong> start as above and then pour the custard into a greased dish; sprinkle lightly with nutmeg and place dish in water to halfway up its sides. Bake at 350 F for 35-45 mins; test its solidity by inserting a knife &#8211; it should be clean on withdrawal.</p>
<p><strong>Steamed Custard:</strong> proceed as for baked custard, but cook in a steamer or a pan in boiling water. The length of cooking time is about the same too.</p>
<p><strong>Custard Tarts:</strong> pour pouring custard into unbaked pastry cases and bake in the oven for 40-50 mins. A little jam can be placed in the bottom of the case first, if desired.</p>

<p>Most of us have probably experienced muscle swelling or soreness after a workout. Although this doesn&#8217;t happen all the time, muscle swelling often happens after having intense work outs. But what causes muscle swelling in the first place?</p>
<p>Muscle soreness or swelling is a common consequence of hard and vigorous exercises like intense weight lifting, nonstop stair climber on the gym, and great speed on the track. When our muscles are working hard, they produce a byproduct known as lactic acid. This product can cause irritation and discomfort to the muscles which will then lead to muscle swelling. However, muscle swelling caused by lactic acid only lasts a few hours to less than a day after the work out. For muscle swelling that stays for two days and over, there is a totally different explanation.</p>
<p>Every time our muscles are forced to work on exercises way over their capacities, microscopic damages occur. From this, prostaglandins, white blood cells, and other fluids and nutrients rush into the muscles to aid recovery. Our muscles then swell the moment these certain elements gush through them. Furthermore, the said elements continue to flow through our muscles until full recovery is achieved. The duration of the muscle&#8217;s recovery goes on for days depending on the damage it had contracted from the work out. This is the main reason why some muscle swellings continue to preside from 2 to 5 days.</p>
<p>A wrong belief has been going around among gym enthusiasts insisting that muscle swelling is a vital component for muscle growth. In actuality, muscle still grows and makes us stronger even when we don&#8217;t get to encounter muscle soreness. But muscle swelling causes several disadvantages like dramatically decreased strength, difficulty in walking, and the feeling of being uncomfortable that can go on for a few days.</p>
<p>An anti-inflammatory may come in handy as a remedy for muscle swelling. However, there is a certain difference between taking an anti-inflammatory drug before and after a workout. Several studies have revealed that taking an anti-inflammatory drug like ibuprofen before exercise reduces more soreness or swelling than taking it after a workout. In some cases, gym enthusiasts rely solely on pre-stretching to help either prevent or reduce muscle swelling. But careful investigation exposed that pre-stretching has no notable contribution to preventing or reducing muscle soreness.</p>
<p>Another good remedy on muscle soreness is a massage. There were also some conducted studies that showed the effect of 30% less muscle swelling for those who have received massages after their work outs compared to those who have not. In other cases, there are several people who still want to go on with their work outs even with a muscle swelling. In order to do so, one must first determine the specific muscle affected by swelling. After which, you can then use the muscle on lighter exercises and see the effects. If the soreness of the muscle happens to have no reactions with the work outs, you can go ahead with the full extent of the exercises. But if the swelling happens to become worse, it is best to immediately stop your work out and take some rest. Keep in mind that a damaged muscle needs more time for it to get full recovery before it starts to grow.
