More and more people these days want easy ways to lose weight – and FAST. We want bodies that are sexy, slim, well-defined, and muscular but are we willing to give the effort, time, or hard work needed to achieve it? No.

“Forget about long, difficult exercises! We have a range of treatments and surgeries to make you lose weight…”

“Take this pill, go to bed… wake up skinny! It’s magic!”

Sound familiar?

Because weight loss is an emotional issue for many, it’s not surprising that many people fall for these scams.

Marketers and salespeople may regard it as just business, but surely you deserve to be told what you’re buying can really do and cannot do.

Almost all of us have that same problem: how do we get in shape? We always hate it when we see our love handles and flabby arms but when it comes to doing the actual work, we always find some alibi to get out of it.

The most popular excuse is that we are just to busy, or were always tired when we get the free time. But what will you say if I tell you that there is a program that promises results after just 45 minutes of working out for three days in a week.

This new exercise routine is called Turbulence Training. This is appropriately named by its creator Craigh Ballantyne because the work out will be able to boost your metabolism in the short time you do the routine.

Craig Ballantyne is a fitness expert whose name has graced numerous magazines like Mens Health and Oxygen Magazine. Even Jillian Michaels of the famous show The Biggest Loser uses the Turbulence Training routine in the show. So, you are assured that this program was put together by a person who knows what hes doing.

The concept behind Turbulence Training is called the superset training that puts includes upper body training and lower body training to make up one complete set. So instead of doing just one exercise for one set, you are actually doing two.

Ducklings600Ok, an update on my personal situation, I managed to retain my weight this week by varying my diet to intake a few more calories, whilst still watching what I eat relative to the cholesterol. Will have to keep this up for another 3 weeks before my next test, then decide on a plan for the next stage, either reducing the level more or making sure it stays down. Will make some detailed plans and tell you what I’m going to do when I know, if that makes sense.

Exercise is always associated with good healthy diet. It is by far one of the most important factors for one to have an effective and healthy diet.

To be victorious with exercise”especially if it’s not normally part of your routine, is to look for ways to integrate it into your daily lifestyle, instead of just getting exercise whenever you have a free time. Integration is the key. Look for any chance to get more exercise like taking the stairs instead of the elevator, parking further away from your office and walk, as long as you’re actively moving around, you’ll be burning off more calories than if you were sitting. A helpful tip is to schedule your exercise as you would other activities during the day”put it in your calendar, work it into your routine as a planned activity”or it will get pushed aside.

As has been said, one of the most helpful and healthy diet tips is through exercising. Why does exercise always get linked with diet? Primarily because it helps you reach your goals of losing fat and looking great in a healthy way. But first let us define the meaning of exercise. Physical exercise is any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health. It is performed for many different reasons.

These include strengthening muscles and the cardiovascular system, honing athletic skills, weight loss or maintenance and for enjoyment. Frequent and regular physical exercise boosts the immune system, and helps prevent the “diseases of affluence” such as heart disease, cardiovascular disease, Type 2 diabetes and obesity.

Well, I’ve finally done it, my first target of getting down to 177 pounds, or 12 stones 9 has arrived. In fact when I weighed in this weekend I was actually 176 pounds, so better than expected. I feel really pleased with myself that I’ve got this far and apart from the first 3 days, (read my diary entry) it’s been surprisingly easy. I don’t get hungry, I have a cheat day once a week, usually Saturday, to satisfy those little temptations and I feel great. There has been some un-planned for expenses though, I’ve had to buy some new trousers and shirts, my old ones were just hanging off me !

Target 2 is my cholesterol level which is currently at 5.4 and I have to get it down to as nears to 4 as possible, due to the type 2 diabetes, which incidentally is fine, my last few tests have shown my blood sugar levels at between 4.5 and 5.5, so everything is at the moment hunky dory.

If you’re like most people these days, you’re probably looking to lose some extra weight. That may be a great goal and you’re thinking about trying out the latest fast weight loss programs that promise drastic results. Tempting as it may sound, losing 10 pounds in 2 weeks isn’t such a great idea. Losing so much weight so quickly can be dangerous and actually cause you to pack on the pounds in the long run.

When you are looking for a diet plan, make sure that you find one that is reasonable in its expectations. There are many diet products on the market that will tell you that you can lose weight very quickly, but you should pay close attention to the nutritional aspects of the plan before you decide to use one of these diets.

Get one or two books about nutrition and look at the amount of information it contains for giving your body the required nutrition. You will discover that nearly all of the experts are on one accord about it being dangerous to attempt any diets to drop 10 pounds in a 2 week time period. You can deprive yourself by severely limiting food, but more than likely you will gain the weight back again.

As you look to lose weight, make sure to choose one which will be healthy and can help you keep the weight off for years to come. You must make a dedicated decision to change your lifestyle if you wish to succeed. It can be extremely difficult to unearth the best flabby arm exercises I know this because I tried to find the best arm exercises not too long ago.

So why is it so hard to find the best arm exercises? Simply put, there is way too much horrible and conflicting advice out there. And the worst part is that the so called “gurus” are creating it.

How are you going to unearth the top-tier flabby arm exercises if there is a mine field of convoluted recommendations? Well, without a good source of information, it’s virtually impossible.

Luckily for you, I’ve decided to tackle this monster head on, no holds barred. I have made the commitment to review as many arm exercises for women as I can, as often as I can. Without further ado, here is today’s analysis of high pulley curls for the biceps:

1. Summary: This exercise is very effective for working the top-most portion of your biceps. Fitness buffs do this exercise so that their biceps get high “peaks.”

2. Technique snap shot: Stand in the middle of a machine with two high pulleys. Grasp both of the pulley’s handles with and underhand grip. Then, bring both of the handles towards your head while keeping the elbows frozen in place. Finally, return the handles to the starting position.

3. Most commonly committed mistakes: Not letting the arms fully extend during the movement. Allowing the head to dip forward which places strain on the neck and spine. And yanking the handles inwards.

Sorry, bit late with my update this week, been away for the weekend to the Isle of Wight, not to the festival, but I could hear it from my brother in laws house and stayed Saturday with friends in Eastleigh. I did manage to weigh before going and had got down to 12 stones 10 pounds or 178 pounds, only a few more to go ! The bad news is that I put it back on by over indulging on Saturday night and Sunday traveling back.
