Depending upon the type of products you are using, whether it’s something you eat or makeup that you wear, natural products are always your best bet. These products are grown and produced without harmful pesticides and they produce almost no side effects in nearly every individual. When it comes to colon cleansing, herbal colon cleansing is also the best method. As much as we want to live a healthy lifestyle, we would still be unable to avoid all the chemicals and hazards, but of course, we can protect ourselves and live a healthy lifestyle.
How does the body remove waste from the body? It can be in a form of sweat, urine being dispelled and bowel movements. Sometimes, there can be difficulties in cleansing our bodies; one is of course in releasing bowel movement. Today, ther are modern medications as well as herbal supplements that can cleanse your colon. Bowtrol colon cleanse is a highly recommended herbal colon cleanser that uses only natural ingredients to cleanse your colon. Thus having less side effects compared to other colon medications and laxatives.
Some of the times, a person’s body may alter the effect of the medicine, though most of the non-herbal laxatives may cause stomach aches and other side effects.
As the name would suggest, Grow Taller 4 Idiots is a book which looks into methods of improving your height naturally. We’ll take a look at this book and the individual sections inside and see whether its worth a look or not.
The book starts off as a short introduction to the concept of natural height gain, followed by the first major section on nutrition. Here we immediately see that gaining height will not be something done on a whim, but that it will take some commitment on your part to achieve. A whole slew of vitamins and minerals are broken down in this section, with their many health benefits fully detailed. This will be a worthwhile section to come back to in the future.
Next up is a look at posture problems which may be holding you back, or down as it is. The section is not overly robust, but the exercises later in the book help flesh out this section with its useful remedies for these problems. A few helpful diagrams are present in this section as well.
Next is sleeping, and like posture, even slight misalignments in your back while sleeping can cause permanent shortening of the space between the vertebrae in your back, leading to height loss. One possible remedy is to avoid using pillows, and while this may not be a popular option, it can provide dramatic results on your posture while you sleep.
Since my last update I’ve managed to stick fairly accurately to my meal plans and managed 20 minutes exercise a day, every day except one. Energy levels are good, still running up the stairs and waking up feeling much “fresher”. Great news today, I checked my weight and have lost another 2 pounds. That’s exactly a stone since I started the diet and 2 thirds the way to my goal of 21 pounds before my test on April 24th.
I tried another route for my walk this week along the Brecon / Monmouth canal, south towards town. The walk starts about 150 yards from home and has a slight hill to start and finish, along side the old locks, which were used to lift and lower the canal barges between the higher and lower levels of the canal. I’ve taken some pictures and in my next update I’ll provide a link so you can see exactly where I go.
Bye for now, I hope your weight loss program is going as well as mine, and as usual if you have any questions email me using the link below.
Bye for now….Bill

There are programs that assist you in burning fat or building muscle to get what you desire but not much that gives you information on how to keep your results. Matters need to be taken in your own hands to keep those results. Daily activities need to be put in place and its simple things like drinking water and eating foods good for your health.
1. Drink plenty of water, a good approach to drinking more water is to drink water when you wake up in the morning and all through the day. Required during and after exercising. Drink a minimum 64 ounces of water daily or more. Thirst often acts as hunger meaning that the body signals your brain that you’re hungry when you are actually not, you’re just really thirsty.
2. Decrease intake on teas and coffee, back off of fizzy drinks.
3. Take in a piece of fruit or more daily, don’t drink fruit juice that’s NOT 100% juice it is difficult for your body to digest and has plenty of calories.
4. Avoid sports drinks as well, a bottle of that could replace all your calories you’ve burned during your workout, a bottle of water is suggested instead.
5. Make sure you get your breakfast, your goals can only be achieved when eating properly same with efficiently working out. Proven experiments have shown that those who eat breakfast will burn fat at a faster rate and build muscle at a faster rate then those who don’t.
People in America have the strangest eating habits. Rather than a sacred ritual that is enjoyed, may folks simply cram food in on the go. In those instances even the best foods will not digest well. A lot of those habits come from childhood. The example we see set in childhood is usually what we practice unless we catch on to some better way to perform.
We know that the human body is energy, something like 99.999 formless and the rest is apparent form. When we choose food it should be chosen with that in mind; find foods that are alive with energy; eat them with consciousness and be grateful that our bodies can incorporate the energy of the foods we are eating. Thats why food ingested with a blessing or giving of thanks goes down so much better than foods gobbled down.
Although meals are usually is a social time, the time can be planned as quiet, relaxing and mutually supportive. The dinner table is not the time for interrogation or reprimand. The more relaxing the meal, the more true interest and love shown around the table, the better the digestion will be for children for their lifetime.
Foods easily ingested by one child cause allergic reactions in their sibling. This one fact alone is cause for arguments at meal time in many homes. Food preferences involve more than being a picky or a good eater, it involves blood types and what is termed in Eastern Indian Cultures dosha types. Every person is unique and varied in what they are designed to digest really well.

Last week was a series of highs and lows. I had decided on a plan of action and routine of healthy eating and regular exercise, which by Friday had produced the loss of a further 2 pounds, which I felt had been quite easily achieved.
Sunday of this weekend however was Mothers Day where traditionally mum’s are spoilt by their offspring. Ours had decided to treat their mum, and myself of course, to a Chinese buffet meal, which I have to admit in all honesty, after 3 weeks of being a good boy, was too good to pass up. So on Friday evening we all went out for our meal and yes you guessed it, the 2 pounds went straight back on, so at the start of this week I was back to square one, but hey, I felt really good. I had been a bit naughty, had a great night out and enjoyed the meal and a laugh with the kids and felt ready to carry on.
I did notice one thing however the following day. I can only assume it must have been the rich food, or the chemicals in the sauces, or whatever, but for about 36 hours after the Chinese meal I felt really odd. As though I was drugged I suppose. I felt bloated, uncomfortable and very lethargic. Perhaps the meal had been a fix of chemicals and toxins which had been purged from my body with the Clean 9 and I was reacting to them !
Hi everybody, I hope you’ve downloaded and read my diary about my background and experiences with completing the Clean 9 programme, what follows over the coming weeks is more insight into how I manage, or not as the case may be, in the further control of my weight, blood sugar and cholesterol level through healthier eating and the use of products from Forever Living. D Day is April 24th when I have to go for the crucial blood test to determine if my efforts have succeeded and my levels are back to normal.
Ok, back to the story. At the end of the diary, February 8th, you will remember I had achieved my first goal and was preparing for the next stage of further gradual weight loss, in preparation for the dreaded test. I decided to take a week off my plan, but still tried to eat sensibly, although I did try a few old favourites I had been denied by the Clean 9 programme and which would have to become in the future treats rather than staple diet.
Managed to get in some exercise and was quite surprised to find that I had retained my weight, not gaining anything at all. It’s difficult to describe it, but since about day 6 or 7 of the programme, I actually feel healthier. I don’t feel as tired as I was and as I pointed out in the diary, I now find myself running up the stairs without even thinking about it. Even did it in the town centre coming up from the underground car park. Haven’t done that for years and did get a strange look from one elderly lady ! All is looking good at the moment !

Nutrition and physical activity, together are the best combination for the health and wellbeing of our bodies. In providing all round general fitness, exercise gives us four major benefits, flexibility, strength, muscle endurance, and cardiovascular health. A good well balanced nutritional diet on it’s own is not going to provide all these benefits, you need to have physical activity as well. It’s worth remembering that a bad diet can affect your fitness training, even if you follow the best exercise plan that you can. You need a combination of a healthy diet and regular exercise to stay as healthy as possible.
The question most people trying to lose weight ask, is how long do you need to exercise to both help shed some pounds and keep as healthy as you can. It is widely recognized that on average you need at least 20 minutes of exercise at least three times a week to help strengthen your cardiovascular health. Another way to look at it, is that you should aim to burn 3500 calories a week by doing any sort of physical activity.
This level of physical exercise will benefit both you and your heart. It is recommended however if you have not had any exercise for some time, or want use exercise as part of a new diet to try and lose weight, that you speak to your doctor first to find out what exercise plan is going to be best for you and your body.
Are you happy with your weight? If so, you belong to the minority of people in the world and should be applauded for your body and positive outlook on your life. Some weight loss however could still be beneficial. Many who are overweight say that they are happy with their bodies, but the fact remains that to achieve a healthy weight, further weight loss could still be very important. Even if you don’t mind having a few extra pounds, there are a number of reasons you should consider losing all or some of them.
Firstly, if you are overweight, you are at risk of developing a number of diseases. The main risk to your health if you are over weight will probably be heart disease, which could lead to a heart attack, many of which are fatal. Heart disease can develop because your heart has to work extra hard to pump blood around the body, which in turn causes it to become fatigued and tired more quickly. This additional strain can occur simply because you are overweight, or can also be as a result of other factors such as high blood pressure or high cholesterol. In many cases it is a combination of all three.
Weight loss is a tricky subject, not only in America, but now also in may other parts of the industrialized world. Pressure from many areas including advertising and the fascination and obsession with “celebrity” are putting our young people under great psychological pressure to be thin, resulting in many young girls and boys turning to anorexia, bulimia, and other eat disorders.
Weight loss can be very good and necessary for many individuals who are overweight and possibly suffering from associated health problems. However the desire to lose weight purely for cosmetic reasons, which may be driven by outside pressures as previously mentioned, can result in disorders and illnesses which are quite simply horrible and do in fact affect millions around the world and can even cause death.
Understanding how being overweight can affect your health and therefore knowing when you need to lose weight and when you do not, is important in the fight against both your personal poor health and the terrible diseases that are sweeping across the United States and the rest of the industrialized west.
Losing weight is a very personal option and should not be driven by the pressures of advertising or celebrity. However, if you look at the recommended weight for someone of your height and frame size and you are more than 20 pounds over the recommended weight, losing all or most that 20 pounds is important for many aspects of your health and general wellbeing. Not everyone’s bodies are the same however, due to us each having a different ratio of fat and muscle to body weight. If you feel you are overweight and need to lose a few pounds, you should really seek medical advice and visit your doctor.
